DeclutMart Return & Refund Policy
At DeclutMart, we want every student to feel safe and confident when buying and selling.
Returns Are Accepted If:
- The item delivered is significantly different from the description/photos (e.g., wrong model, fake item, or severe undisclosed damage).
- The item is not working or defective, and the seller did not mention this in the listing.
- You received the wrong item.
Returns Are NOT Accepted If:
- The buyer changes their mind after purchase.
- The defect/damage was clearly shown or described in the listing.
- The item is a non-returnable product (e.g., undergarments, hygiene products).
Refund Process
- Buyers must report the issue within 48 hours of receiving the item via the contact support tab on our platform.
- Buyers must return the product within 48 hours of receiving the item via the contact support tab on our platform.
- Our team will review the claim and may request photos or evidence.
- If approved, the buyer gets a refund for the returned item within 3–5 business days after refund approval.
Seller Protection
- Funds are only released to the seller after 3–5 business days for the buyer to exercise their return/refund right.
- Sellers may dispute a return claim if they believe the buyer is acting unfairly.
